Join our special guest Scott Semple of NewTHINK Solutions with our host, NVSBC Program Director Earl Morgan as Scott discusses 'What is the Real Impact of the SDVOSB CVE Transfer to SBA?' The end of self-certification for SDVOSB will begin on January 1.

On January 1st the Small Business Administration will take over the certification responsibilities from the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veteran Enterprise. This will mean that all self-certified SDVOSB’s who are not already CVE certified will have to go through the new process to certify in order to maintain any current awarded contracts that were set aside for SDVOSBs outside of any CVE requirement from an agency. Up to 75% (35,000) of current SDVOSBs are self-certified and have not gone through the CVE process.

Key Takeaways for Participants:
- Quantified and Qualified Impacts to SDVOSBs
- The failure time line
- The Mentor Protégé Issue (Out of the 1502 Approved SBA Mentor Protégé Teams 278 of them are self-certified non CVE SDVOSBs)
- The Way Ahead for CVE and Non CVE Certified SDVOSBs
