- The session will introduce a framework for evaluating vehicles based on customer demand, spending, scope alignment, past performance, competition, teaming opportunities, and pipeline potential. Attendees will also examine three ways to access vehicle-based opportunities such as a prime vehicle holder, through teaming or joint ventures, or as a subcontractor and learn why winning a place on a vehicle is only the starting point.

By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
1. Evaluate and prioritize contract vehicles strategically by examining customer buying behavior, historical spending, scope alignment, competition, past performance, and pipeline potential.
2. Determine the right market-access strategy Prime, Team/Joint Venture, or Subcontract when pursuing opportunities through contract vehicles.
3. Move from vehicle award to vehicle utilization by implementing an intentional business development process that includes agency targeting, opportunity identification, capability outreach, relationship building, and pipeline tracking.
4. Improve pipeline quality and pursuit discipline by focusing resources on opportunities where customer demand, company capability, and probability of winning align.
5. Develop a 90-day action plan to research target customers, identify relevant vehicles and partners, position with buyers, and begin activating a focused contract vehicle strategy.
